Pete Kadens
Managing Partner, FounderPete Kadens is a serial entrepreneur and investor with a proven track record of building and scaling industry-leading companies, including in highly regulated industries. As Founder and CEO of SoCore Energy, he built one of the nation’s largest commercial solar developers, leading the development, financing, construction, and long-term ownership of distributed energy projects across the United States. He later co-founded and led Green Thumb Industries as CEO, which is now one of the world’s largest publicly traded cannabis companies. Additionally, he co-founded and was a longtime Board Member of NewLake Capital Partners, a publicly traded REIT, and Big Sky Capital Partners, a private real estate investment platform that invests in and owns funeral homes. At Little Giants, Pete applies his experience developing institutional-scale businesses, infrastructure projects, and real estate platforms to expand access to specialized pediatric healthcare facilities.
Ruben Sigala
Managing Partner, FounderRuben Sigala is a healthcare, marketing, and analytics executive with deep experience scaling high-growth businesses and driving operational performance. He previously served as Chief Marketing Officer and Analytics Officer at Caesars Entertainment, where he built and led a 175-person enterprise analytics organization and oversaw a team of over 1,100 employees spanning the areas of product, marketing, and distribution. He later served as Chief Marketing and Analytics Officer at Well, a digital health company, helping grow the business as a day-1 executive to over a $150 million capital raise and 1-million users. Through Sigala Ventures, Ruben has advised companies on analytics, artificial intelligence, and growth strategy. At Little Giants, he leverages his expertise in healthcare, data-driven decision-making, and strategic growth to help build a leading pediatric real estate platform.
Bernard Lefang
Managing Partner, FounderDr. Lefang is a seasoned executive with extensive expertise across real estate development, construction, healthcare, and technology. As President of The Bel Companies, he has led land development and construction initiatives across multiple commercial sectors, including pediatric healthcare facilities. Over the past several years, he has developed more than 100 residential and commercial lots whilst overseeing several multi-million-dollar residential and commercial development projects. Previously, Dr. Lefang served as a Managing Partner at Accenture and as Head of Enterprise Data Science at Humana, bringing a distinctive combination of operational leadership, technology expertise, and healthcare industry experience. He has also successfully developed a PPEC facility in partnership with Spark Pediatrics. In his role with Little Giants, he oversees site identification, permitting, construction management, and end-to-end project delivery for pediatric healthcare developments, helping to ensure that each project is strategically located, efficiently executed, and aligned with the organization’s growth objectives.
Aaron Friedman
Managing PartnerAaron Friedman is a corporate development and investment executive with extensive experience leading complex strategic transactions and growth initiatives within the healthcare sector. He previously served as Vice President and Head of Corporate Development at Walgreens Boots Alliance, where he executed more than $30 billion in transactions. Earlier in his career, Aaron worked in Transaction Services at KPMG, advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments. At Little Giants, he leverages his expertise in strategy, corporate finance, and transaction execution to support the company’s growth and capital strategy.
Greg Buzzell
Project Development and FinanceGreg Buzzell is an experienced executive in infrastructure development, project finance, and investing. He currently serves as CEO of Kadens Family Holdings, where he oversees strategic investments and new business initiatives. Previously, Greg founded and led New Resource Solutions, an investment advisory firm supporting commercial solar development and project financing, and helped scale SoCore Energy from a venture-backed startup into one of the nation's leading integrated solar developers and financiers. Prior to business school he traded currencies at JP Morgan in New York. His experience spans project development, financing, construction, and investment strategy, providing the expertise to execute on complex, large-scale projects. At Little Giants, Greg helps drive the company's growth and capital strategy as it expands its national pediatric real estate platform.
Katherine Klein
Senior Associate, Operations and SalesKatherine Klein supports operations, business development, and strategic initiatives at Little Giants Real Estate Partners. She serves as a Special Projects Manager at Kadens Family Holdings, where she works across portfolio companies and new ventures to drive operational execution and growth. Prior to joining Kadens, Katherine worked in partnerships and marketing at a technology startup and began her career at a New York City public relations agency, developing expertise in communications, relationship management, and strategic marketing. She brings a cross-functional approach to supporting Little Giants’ growth and partnerships within pediatric real estate.
